We are proud to announce that the LifeChips IGERT program has received a Graduate Assistance in Areas of National Need (GAANN) award from the US Department of Education. The GAANN program provides grants to academic departments and programs of institutions of higher education to support graduate fellowships for students with excellent academic records. Grants are awarded to programs and institutions to sustain and enhance the capacity for teaching and research in areas of national need. Congratulations to following the 2012/2013 GAANN recipients:
